Respiratory Physiology provides a thorough exposition of normal and abnormal respiratory functions, with emphasis on pulmonary structure and dynamics. Clinical evaluation is concentrated in the last chapter. Pertinent equations and tables are covered in the appendix. Fundamentals of Respiratory Disease opens with four short chapters on the aspects of medical science that are the foundation of respiratory medicine. Three chapters sketch out the clinical assessment; the nine closing chapters briefly review the main syndromes and therapy.
