The subject of focal infection, especially with regard to dental infection, still holds the lively interest of both medical and dental professions. Vitamin deficiency as a basic cause for numerous of our pathological dental conditions has stimulated new interest in this field and new conceptions have perhaps resulted. Our theories of vitamin activity are constantly undergoing alteration, as new facts seem to become established.
