In an editorial in the August number of the Annals we gave an account of the Lübeck disaster in the vaccination of 246 children in that city with the bacillus-Calmette-Guerin, with the result that up to March 25 there had been 17 deaths from alimentary tuberculosis, with 41 living showing evidence of tuberculosis. Later reports show that up to June 3th, 46 children were reported as having died with acute tuberculosis of the alimentary type, and 68 were seriously ill at this time.
