That a seventh edition of this handbook has been called for speaks for its usefulness to students of anatomy. The author's original purpose was to lighten the labors of the medical student, and the editor of this revised edition has endeavored to carry this out. The result is a very concise and complete anatomical compendium, which can be recommended as a very convenient aid to the study of anatomy. The Latinized form of the Basle Nomenclature is used consistently in the text, plates and index. Where both the new and old terms are used the new is emphasized by its
