The etiology and progress of changes in the colon so often noted in arthritis have been very great controversial points. Where many different opinions are held as to the cause of a condition and many methods of treatment advanced for the alleviation of the disease, it is evident a true understanding of the basic factors has not been reached. The roentgenological observations which we report here were noted on examination of patients suffering with chronic arthritis.
