The biological relationship between host cells and tumor cells in patients with malignant teratomas of the testis containing chorionic epithelial structures is unlike that which can occur in the male under any other circumstances. If the included blastomere theory of the origin of complex teratomas of this type is accepted, it means for the male that in his testis there is growing a structure composed in part of the fetal components of the placenta belonging to his included twin brother.
