This volume was written by one who was for many years the administrative head of municipal tuberculosis activities in Chicago. In fairness to the prospective reader, it must be said that the author has done no more than relate his local experience in this metropolitan center. For this reason, those concerned with control procedures, state-wide or country-wide in scope, will find little of value.
