Although the first studies of the caddis fly emanations were made in Buffalo and the Niagara frontier, it was soon realized that this allergen was not confined merely to this locality.1 An effort, therefore, has been made to determine the extent of distribution of this fly. The stimulus to do this was supplied by the numerous inquiries which have been received from physicians throughout this country and Canada as to the presence of this fly in their respective communities. This report also includes studies of its distribution in various sites in Buffalo and nearby rural districts. Daily counts of its
