In this issue Dr. Alan Gregg has drawn attention to the value to the patient of demanding of his physician that a post mortem be performed in the event of his death. This highly original and valuable contribution to our thinking on this subject deserves wider circulation among the laity than it will receive through the pages of the ANNALS. The most effective method of spreading this doctrine would be for individual physicians to give to their patients a reprint of Dr. Gregg's address to the College.
