The authors have had the ambition to combine in one volume an atlas of hematology, a description of the cells of the blood in health and disease, a clinical description of the diseases of the blood and a manual of hematological technic. They have achieved this purpose within the compass of a volume of slightly over 500 pages. As an atlas the book is not an outstanding success.
