Ten years have elapsed since the first publication of this book on experimental pharmacology and those concerned with the teaching of this subject to medical students from an experimental view point welcome the revision of this standard text in the field. The second edition continues the original plan of the first by dividing the text into two general parts: first, Chemical Pharmacology, and second, Experimental Pharmacodynamics.
