The second edition of Dr. Haden's book will no doubt appeal to a wide audience of medical students, clinical pathologists and internists. The method employed by the author is to present his material in concise and simplified form. He utilizes charts, figures and diagrams freely to enable the reader to visualize the data. Stress is laid on quantitative relationships, and what might be called the mathematics of the blood cells is dealt with at some length.
