When the Board of Regents deferred the annual meeting of The American College of Physicians, which was to have been held at Philadelphia in 1943, the Officers, Regents and Governors were requested to hold over until such time as it would be possible to have either a regular or a business meeting. This gathering is a combination meeting which permits a short scientific session devoted entirely to problems of military medicine and furnishes an opportunity to those of us who have been "frozen" to become "thawed out."
