A majority of the cases of the cyanotic group of congenital cardiac anomalies present the combination known as the Tetralogy of Fallot.
Most of these cases are encountered in infants and children, the mean age in Abbott's1 series being 12 years of age. White and Sprague2 reported a case of Tetralogy of Fallot in which the patient lived to the age of 59 years and nine months. This is the oldest proved case on record.
