This little book, as stated in the preface, is a "brief introduction to the point of view of the Grant Study and the methods used in the effort to study normal human beings." It is divided into three sections, the first an explanation of the selection of subjects, the general plan of study and the methods used in examining the subjects. The subjects used were Harvard students, in their second year of college work. They were chosen for their satisfactory records both academically and in their relationship with others.
