The author has presented a small, well written text which he has illustrated with a number of excellent black and white photographs and color plates. As stated in the preface this is a handbook and is not intended to replace a larger text. It deals adequately with the commoner skin diseases and briefly mentions some of the rarer ones. There are some minor variations between the terminology used in this book and those in common usage in the United States and some of the therapeutic suggestions are seldom followed in this country.
