This book covers a wide diversity of subjects pertaining to mental hygiene, written by various authors. From the point of view of the internist probably only several chapters will prove to be of interest. These include: Lloyd Thompson's "The Contribution of Mental Hygiene and the Future," in which is discussed the general concepts and workings of mental hygiene and some of its (idealistic) goals, a few of which are now partially realized.
