Each year, the Josiah Macy, Jr. Foundation sponsors a meeting at which a small group of investigators in the general field of blood coagulation air their views and common interests. This small volume is a verbatim report of the Conference held in January 1950. Some of the material presented is highly technical and will appeal only to those who are especially concerned with blood coagulation problems. However, the discussions on vitamin K, and its use in counteracting Dicumarol effect are of more general interest.
