It is agreed that a bundle branch block, once established, remains as a permanent abnormality for the remainder of the patient's life. While there are numerous reports of cases of functional or transient heart blocks, we found only one report of a spontaneous remission of a bundle branch block once it was established for a period of a year or more.1
