The revised ninth edition of this standard text of human anatomy follows, essentially, the general pattern of previous editions. Contributors to the sections on Osteology, Arthrology and Surface and Surgical Anatomy have been changed from those listed in the eighth edition. In conformity with the present trend the Anglicized version of anatomical terms is used throughout the book, except in a few instances where the Latinized form may help the student to appreciate the derivation of related words. The series of radiographic plates featured in the various sections of the book are excellent, especially those found in the section on
