An admirably concise and accurate account of our present knowledge concerning the hypophysis. The treatment is synoptic but surprisingly thorough and complete with all of the essential facts about the hypophysis included and the current theories regarding hypophyseal function well presented. In short it is the sort of thing for which the French are justly famous and which, when they do it well, they do with consummate skill.
