Reports of individual cases and series of cases of sarcoidosis have been increasing in the world literature in recent years.1 However, its association with a polyarthritis has rarely been reported. Castellanos2 reported this combination in a six year old Cuban boy, the arthritis resembling Still's disease. His patient died of generalized tuberculosis, and it is difficult to be sure how many of the manifestations may have been due to tuberculous infection.
