This 14 page pamphlet represents the Third Report of WHO Expert Committee on Drugs Liable to Produce Addiction. Its findings in brief are as follows:
1. At the request of the Swiss Government Ipecopan and its commercial preparations were reëxamined. Although Ipecopan powder is controlled by the 1925 Conventions the commercial derivatives mentioned contain less than 0.2 per cent anhydrous morphine and can safely be exempted from the 1925 Convention.
2. At the request of the French Government morpholinylethylmorphine was reexamined. It found that this drug is less liable than codeine to produce addiction and should be exempted from strict
