This book has been written to describe the unusual reactions that may follow the administration of drugs. The well-recognized untoward effects are only briefly stated. The author points out that the side effects that rarely occur are usually not described in the literature. Therefore only a careful study of the literature, hospital records and long experience in prescribing drugs could provide the data necessary for a summary of this type. Numerous references are given at the end of each of the 25 chapters. The material covered in the text appears to be adequate and the index is extensive so that
