The pictures on the jacket, by Bill Meek, seem more suggestive to me of the quality of this book than the title, Living with a Disability, at Home, at Work, at Play. The title suggests something on the order of Mastering Your Disability, by Harold A. Littleton, recently published, on the personal disability of a cord injury. Dr. Rusk's book really comprises by far the most superbly developed catalogue of usable, tested, pictured, pertinent devices and plans for use among the disabled, in largely urban relationships in homes, at work, in recreation and the arts.
