This concise, well written and practical manual should fulfill the need for which it was written—to provide the essential details for the performance of procedures commonly used by medical students, house staff officers and practicing physicians for the diagnosis of hematologic disorders. The author presents but one method for each of the numerous procedures mentioned and states it to be the most practical for the examination in question, in his experience. The reader is referred to other more involved standard texts for collateral reading.
