Through a grant from Mead Johnson & Company, the Regents of the American College of Physicians on November 12-13, 1955, awarded Graduate Residency Scholarships to the following individuals. The award to each amounts to $1,000.00. The fellowships are intended for young men who appear to possess the attributes for success in Internal Medicine or an allied specialty and who need funds to help them attain their goal of adequate education. The awards are open to interns or residents and the candidates must be nominated by the appropriate Governor of the American College of Physicians for their states, provinces or territories:
