This record of experimentation over a period of more than 20 years is a valuable contribution to the understanding of the various effects, physiological and pharmacological, upon the secretion of adrenalin by the adrenal gland.
By the ingenious technic, devised by the author, of first deafferenting one side of a dog in the lumbar region and then performing experiments on the anesthetized side of the animal, Dr. Satake has been able to perform many interesting experiments.
