There has been an increasing number of texts on electrocardiography published during the past several years. This is a reflection of the ever increasing interest in electrocardiography both as an effective clinical tool and as a means of basic investigation. In "Electrocardiography" the author attempts to cover the needs of the medical student, general practitioner, and internist. Unfortunately, many portions of the text are not lucidly presented. The section devoted to basic principles is not sufficient to furnish sound working concepts. It is hoped that future editions will remedy some of the errors in the legends and spelling. With the
