With the realization of the special characteristics of the nervous system of infants and children there has been increased interest in pediatric neurology particularly on the part of medical students and house officers. It has been difficult to offer these students any reading material other than detailed texts of papers on individual entities. Lamm's Pediatric Neurology fills this need well. It covers all the important problems in a very organized, concise and interesting way. Some may criticize the brevity of each item, but this will be refreshing to the house officer and encourage reading the entire book rather than just
