An Epitomy of Surgical Management would, perhaps, be a better title for this publication. This short volume is an excellent monograph on surgical treatment including surgical diagnosis and specific considerations of preoperative and postoperative management. Postoperative complications, their recognition and treatment, are emphasized.
The book represents careful condensation of much voluminous material for easy applicability. It should be of value to anyone engaged in the practice of surgery or its specialties; and it should prove to be of inestimable aid to any surgical house officer.
