This book consists of a series of excellent lectures on treatment methods in dermatology by accepted authorities on various subjects. The individual authors have attempted an evaluation of current methods of diagnosis and treatment of the entities under discussion. In the vast majority of instances, the writers have indicated that the conditions described are not merely cutaneous entities, but reflect the reaction pattern of an individual to a stimulus. Stress is laid on the necessity for determining the causative factor so that effective therapeutic measures may be instituted. The unbiased approach and the lack of dogmatism are refreshing.
