In line with one of the objects of the American College of Physicians, to promote and advance clinical research, the College established in 1934, a group of Research Fellowships to be awarded each year on the recommendation of its Committee on Fellowships and Scholarships. These fellowships are designed especially for the benefit of young physicians who are in the early stages of preparation for a teaching and investigative career in medicine.
