The contents of this valuable, concise, and inexpensive handbook are clearly described in its introduction, though not in its title:
"Part I deals with procedures designed to prevent or modify infection by active or passive immunization.
"Part II includes, under headings of individual disease entities, brief summaries of information and recommendations pertinent to the recognition and management of each disease in the patient, in exposed susceptibles, and in the community."
