After a short description of the events of conception, this manual describes various contraceptive methods—medical, mechanical, and temporal—and their efficiencies and costs. The second part discusses problems of infertility and some approaches to this problem available to the patient. A list of planned parenthood associations, arranged by states, follows the text.
The manual is directed especially to laymen—social workers and married couples—but may be useful to physicians.
