Despite the widespread interest in bodily disorders occurring repeatedly on the anniversary of emotionally distressing events, there have been comparatively few reports of the anniversary reaction in the literature since its original description by Hilgard in 1953 (1). The present case report concerns one patient with 3 anniversary reactions each recurring periodically. The reactions involved the respiratory
system, gastrointestinal tract, and the integument.
