The author is knowledgeable and abreast of current literature, for one of his references is to a paper published no more than 6 months ago. In 125 pages he deals with the history, anatomy, physiology, "etiopathogenesis," classification, treatment, and even the philosophy of treatment of lymphedema. Unfortunately, in spite of the welcome slimness of the volume, it is written in a repetitive style and the organization of the material is haphazard.
