Designed as a guide for those who are called upon to treat amebiasis, to whom the disease and its manifestations may be relatively uncommon, if not rare, Dr. Wilmot's excellent little book serves as an expert consultant and brings to the bedside the author's clinical wisdom and sound advice concerning diagnosis and therapy. He has summarized his extensive personal experience with the diseases caused by E. histolytica in Natal, and critically reviewed the world literature on the subject.
