Gathered into this Symposium are papers presenting experimental work, theories, and, in some few instances, reviews by investigators from various disciplines, presenting parallel studies of normal and neoplastic growth for a better understanding of cancer and its relationship to the organism as a whole. It includes work by basic scientists in experimental embryology and normal cellular physiology as well as by those concerned with experimental oncology.
