Dr. Bombart's wonderful book is addressed to radiologists, gastroenterologists, otorhinolaryngologists, thoracic surgeons, and to physicians in general. It accomplishes beautifully its main object which is to show that of all methods of investigation of the normal or diseased esophagus it is the radiologic investigation which occupies the most important place and that it is to the radiologic investigation that the physician should make his first appeal.
Dr. Bombart has given, in the first portion of the book, a superb radioclinical description of the individual anatomic segments of the esophagus. The pathologic lesions of the esophagus are also magnificently illustrated and
