Dr. George Silver has produced a major milestone in the literature on medical care—a book that is constantly interesting and in places, sensational. His book describes a project for providing comprehensive medical care to a selected group of families belonging to the Montefiore Medical Group of the Health Insurance Plan of New York City. Care was given by a team approach and within a group practice.
