The reviewer must agree with the author who states in his preface that this book "is in many respects unusual." Other adjectives also come to mind—remarkable, strange, weird. The work might be characterized as a compendium, a potpourri or a hodgepodge.
This book is "a text for the student of humanology," according to the author. Full-time humanologists are personnel directors, medical consultants, nurses, industrial hygienists, and others, while foremen and supervisors may be part-time humanologists. Presumably the humanologists are all concerned with mantalent development. Thus, the English language has been enriched by the addition of at least two new words.
