An excellent, easy-to-read and well-written little monograph describing the biologic and instrumental principles on which electrocardiography, vectorcardiography, and phonocardiography are based. Designed for cardiological technicians "to improve the quality of work and greatly add to interest in carrying it out"; the authors succeeded in their objective.
Physicians interpreting electrocardiograms and phonocardiograms may benefit from the sections on human and instrumental artefacts in such recordings.
