This book contains a complete clinical discussion of industrial bladder carcinogens, but lacks details of the environmental control of exposures. It emphasizes that electrocoagulation of benign bladder lesions may forestall the development of malignant changes, and that once malignant changes have occurred, the prognosis becomes poor. The opening chapter presents a historical review and statistics, and the second chapter describes carcinogenic chemical compounds. An extensive list of references and a brief but adequate index are presented.
