In this third of a continuing series of essays by investigators from many fields but with a common interest in human genetics, each of the participants, as in the first two volumes shows particular competence in the area he discusses. The editors have done an admirable job in continually improving the over-all quality of the volume. The topics will have varying degrees of interest for different individuals.
The selection of topics and their handling in Volume III is admirable, and the editors provide an excellent summary of the contents of this volume in their foreward. Minor errors appear and occasionally
