Reported abnormalities of renal function after treatment with amphotericin B are listed on Table 1. During treatment with the colloidal form of amphotericin B (Fungizone® for Infusion), the form available for clinical use, over five sixths of patients have developed abnormal blood urea nitrogen or serum creatinine levels (1). In this regard it is noteworthy that in most instances the daily dosage of drug has been dependent more on the level
