It is always a pleasure for a hematologist to be able to review an atlas of blood cytology—especially when the book is as handsomely printed as this one by Dr. G. Forteza Bover. A small part of the fun may be the opportunity for a reviewer to critically compare his own concept (usually superior, of course!) of what constitutes a representative picture of a cell or disease with that of the authors.
