The title of this book is deceptive in that it implies that it will describe how to better educate the next generation of physicians. In fact, it is a study of the reactions of 20 students, selected from one class, to the revised program at the School of Medicine of Western Reserve University.
The book is divided into three parts. The first, entitled "Approaches to the Student," describes the reasons and the methods of the study and includes a chapter which elaborates on "The Learning Process and the Individual Student."
Part Two, "Selected Findings," starts out with a chapter in
