Findings from the Health Examination Survey, 1960-62, in graphic and tabular form, with textual comment. Notable findings include the greater prevalence of hypertension and hypertensive cardiovascular disease among Negroes than among non-Negroes and the finding of almost as many persons with suspect heart disease as with definite heart disease (11.7 and 13.2 persons, respectively, per hundred, aged 18 to 79).
