A brief but comprehensive discussion of the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of emergency situations encountered in cardiac patients is contained in this well-written, easy to read volume using a minimum of extraneous material. The author presents a large number of illustrative electrocardiograms.
The subject matter is handled in a personal and positive manner, with great emphasis on the author's own experience. It is often dogmatic, as the author admits in his preface.
